Happy Halloween!!!

So, tonight was SO much fun! I was going to go trick-or-treating with Kat, of course, but her sissy had a swimming competition :o( .... But I went with some other good friends instead, and we had an awesome time. I got pictures (YAYY!!!! Thanks Laura!) But, no time to upload them yet. Oh, and videos. It's pretty exciting. ;o)

So, Happy Halloween once more....tomorrow is Miss Adey's 10th (Um, WHAT?!?!?!?!) birthday party at Medieval Times (WOO!) and Sunday is Six Flags with Kattie and Kayllan (her sissy)!!

I think I'll be pretty sad when the weekend is over, LOL

I hate people. They attack your opinion, and when you get angry at them for doing so, you'd better watch out. My, oh my...

But I can never stay upset for long, nope, optimism is not supportive of that ;o)

I wanted to share some videos Kattie and I have been working on. We call it "CATS Les Mis." I think we're going to re-do it, though, and make a real mini-theater. Sounds exciting, does it not? And we'll do other songs and musicals besides Les Mis. It should be really fun.

On a different note, I'm having very complicated thoughts tonight. I have this friend who is usually not worth being friends with and yet I find I can't keep from talking to him. So, please pray for me tonight, since he'll be there I know it will be hard to do my best. :sigh:

In 2 hours I am leaving with the 'rents for Iowa to see Evan at college!! Woot woot!!! He's also doing the sound for a musical called Urinetown. It's an awful name, LOL, but I've heard the musical is good, so naturally I'm ecstatic ;o) AND, the hotel we're staying at has an indoor pool...I've been wanting to swim for so long since I call myself a fish who morphed into a human. LOL, I really LOVE the water. :o)

Anyway, Willy Wonka shows are next weekend (yay!) and then there's Halloween of course, and Six Flags closing day with Kattie (YAY to both of those things!!!) so I'll be nice and busy until I can start getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! (already? WHAT? LOL)

Getting Sick

Such a great weekend. Yesterday, St. Charles Scarecrow Festival. A bunch of kids from Willy Wonka performed...I got to sing my song, yay! But the best part of the day...not seeing the creative scarecrow entries lined up, not going on a extremely fun, butterflies-in-stomach inducing ride, not having CTE win a draw of $100...nope, imagine my surprise when two performers from Chicago came up and sang...they were Glinda and Elphaba from WICKED!!!!! WOW!!! I LOVE Wicked (well duh, my blog is named after one of the songs :-P) and I got to sit up reeaally close (a matter of feet!) and get a picture with the two!!!

Oh, but let me tell you, wearing the "Willy Wonka uniform" (consisting of a YELLOW t-shirt and jeans--all I had were skinny. Cute but stiff, itchy, and uncomfortable) combined with the fruity perfume I was wearing attracted millions upon millions of bees to me. ARGH! I have NO use for the creatures, especially since I hate honey :( Oh, you think I'm exaggerating?

I think all the walking around in the hot weather I did took its toll on me...I woke up feeling all (for lack of a better term) 'germified' and hardly well enough to babysit 4 sweet kids tonight. I think my body is desperately warding off sickness since it feels SO good to sneeze. I'm helping my immune system along with healthiness galore and tons of water.

Anyway! Tomorrow is P'Pa's marathon...hopefully I'm better by tomorrow...as it's always so much fun and let's not forget eating at Uno's...mmmmm :)

Bittersweet.

Is what last night was. I am having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that this is my last CTE fall show. I only have Pinnochio, and then it's all over, it's gone. It's so unbelievable! Where have the last 7 years gone?!?! The thing is, last night I was having so much fun rehearsing dances and running around and playing M.A.S.H.T. with all my "little friends" and being weirdos (:oP) with Kattie. Then at the end of practice I realized how soon it will be over and my heart hurt a little. I guess now all there is to do is enjoy the time I do have left.

Bottom line is, I'm very very very attached to this little theatre group of mine :oP
