Black Friday

Actually for me .. it's Christmas Decorating Day. Every day-after-Thanksgiving of the year, me and Mumzie bring up the giant bins filled to the brim with Christmas-y goodness. I'm the queen of Christmas spirit, truly. Every Black Friday I almost cry over happiness and good memories. I can never, ever be in a bad mood from the day after Thanksgiving to New Years...virtually. That being said, I'm off-better get sleep since tomorrow the fam is going to Chi-town, the whole G family, COMPLETE...and Jeremy too!!! ;o)

Oops...

I completely forgot how I left my blog, since Monday...let me just clear the air, Willie is FOUND! ;o) It's a funny story, really, he trotted his little butt a ways down the road, crossed it, and hopped right into a random person's car. I kid you not. The woman was unloading groceries, she said, and her husband came in and said "There's a dog in your car".. HAHA!

Where is Wee?

Last night, Laura put Willie out and turned away for only a few seconds and when she turned back Willie was ... gone.

That was 5:30 .. last night.

AND it's snowing.

I'm just praying that he was found and we'll get a call saying he's fine, he's just fine and you can come get him now. I can't think of what else may have happened to the sweet dog.

Willie...where ARE you???

Playing with Photoshop.

A grainy Ade. Who, by the way, recently turned ten. I mentioned that...didn't I? However, it's worth repeating. Ten. Double digits. Unbelievable...

These two don't have much added except a few fine-tuning effects, but I just love love them.

Despite the fact the 'dirt' on his face makes him look like he has no nose, I'd take this one to the state fair if I could (I can't because, it's not MY picture, technically).

Currently my desktop background. The flag completes the effect. Wouldn't you agree?

More on my newest addiction.

Just when the world of broadway can't seem to get any better...they make stuff like THIS.

A Les Mis dedicated post.

First of all:

My dear Anna, if come Thanksgiving, you want the entirety of my Les Mis to be a surprise when you watch the D.V.D., DON'T READ ANYMORE!! Hee hee hee ;o)

That being said...

You'd figure it would happen soon, didn't you?? ;oP

My cast photo
The 'silly' cast photo...more like our natural state ;o)

His facial expression is just great here. Those of you who don't know the storyline, I'll tell you, there's this GIANT revolution held by the students who want to be free. Now can you see what great acting went into this production?

Our set was amazing!

One day MORE!

I was pleased to see this is the photo D.V.D. This was during "Do you hear the people sing?" I like our expressions as well.
Our broadway-quality Gavroche - no joke. I LOVE this kid, SO much!

I don't know how this photo got to be the way it is. It gives me chills, just the texture and mood of it is SO good.

And, today, I found the most amazing, up-my-alley website. Seriously. Type in "Les Miserables" and see what you get. I think my life has changed a little .. for real. They've got t-shirts that have the "Little People" lyrics written on it. Every character has their own lines they're known for, that's on t-shirts too. I want a wall clock, I want a magnet, heck, I want a MOUSE PAD. And not just Les Mis. Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked. The possibilities are endless!!!

This Tony-award winning scene, just LOVE it!

A few Britain's got talent people:
Unexpectedly Phenomenal.
Amazing...and adorable.
Charming.
Flexible.

The most beautiful, captivating song EVER. No kidding. It changed my life.

Recap of an AMAZING weekend

Friday:

I woke up and finished my schoolwork as quick as I could; then when I stepped outside I was pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous weather that I'd be trick or treating in in a few hours. Really, it was amazing!

Katarina's sister had a swim meet so she couldn't go with me, so I called some old, good friends from the theatre (like, from waaaaay back) and went with them.

Here I am, I'm Eponine from Les Mis (I know...that's a shocker, right??? ;P)

Three of my theatre buds (they're brothers) and I. It was so cool-we were all from shows: (from left) Jekyll and Hyde, Eponine, the Phantom of the Opera and Sweeney Todd. It was awesome!
Lastly, the hoarde.

Saturday

Adrianna's birthday party. My Ade. My Adey, Adey-Joy, Adey-Badey, Adgey, Adge-ish (girl of a million nicknames.) As you know, she came to us when she was five. And now...she's ten. TEN!!!!!!! Um....what?!?!?! I can hardly believe it...double digits!
Anyway! Her birthday was at a place I've been yearning to go for so long (since I got into this whole medieval-dragons-LOTR-griffon obsession) Medieval Times! It.was.AMAZING!!!! Seriously. Basically, it's a story of a kidnapped prince complete with horses, jousting knights and a real trained falcon that flew down two feet (I kid you NOT!!!) from me and Kat's head. It was an experience. If you live near one (I think they're near all the major cities) just GO! You won't regret it.
Afterwards, Ade had her own little party at her house and I went back to Kattie's house for a sleepover.
Sunday
We woke up bright and early to get to Six Flag's .... closing day. :( This was a great season and I was sad to see the end of it. And, it'll be at least six months until it opens again!!! Le sigh.
But, we still had an AMAZING time. Katarina went on Raging Bull for the first time and was shaking in line and openly crying on the lift. Of course, as soon as we dropped she yelled "This is AWESOME!!!" :oP
The weekend is over and the next fun thing on my list is Thanksgiving and decorating for Christmas. Yes!!! This year has flown by and I'm constantly wondering where the time has gone.
On a sadder note, I have a feeling things won't go my way tonight. I'm panicking at the thought of my parent's hard-earned money going towards funding for killing innocent babies. Urrgghh....holding my breath.
