EEK!

Oh my...I don't know if I've ever gone this long with updating. =p I even forgot to say why I was leaving for 5 days...erm...

Well anyway, last week the family went to visit Anna and Jeremy and their new puppy, Lulu :)
It was a great visit and here are just a few photos I took there:

I want it.

Mom called me and said "there's something in the window well that you'll like". It was JUST SO DARN CUTE! :)

Seven years ago.

I was in my very first CTE play. I saw it on the news. Evan tried to explain it to me. I still did not understand the full extent of the tragedy.

But now I do understand...and as I mature more each year, the Twin Towers crash becomes more and more poignant and real to me. It really is an awfulawful thing.

Excited ranting (And my 100th post!!!)

I have to make this brief...but ohoh is this show turning out WONDERFUL! I see children and adults alike smiling huge smiles and wiping their tears and clapping ecstatically all at once. Really, I've said it thousands of times but it barely scratches the surface. Theatre is, really, the most amazing pastime. To look out at a screaming audience, panting after your performance. Then running out arm-in-arm with your theatre buds and greet them.

Yes, with shows these past two nights and another today, overdramaticness looms =P

Les Mis and other bits

So last night was the opening night of Les Mis...it went very well ;o) My friend who is the *ahem* emotional type...I look down on her during the finale and her face is BURIED in her hands and she's shaking with sobs :oP

Then afterwards we went to Nick's (a pizza place where you can throw your peanut shells on the floor) and I went home and watched my new D.V.D., a recording of Placing Out...and then disaster struck.

I looked everywhere for my purse that I had accidentally left at home. It was nowhere. After 2 hours I realized what must have happened...I put it on the back of Mum's car and ran in to get something and...I must have forgot it, and it fell out. We looked, it's nowhere to be found.

I can't even think about what I've lost. My Ipod nano that I worked so hard for, along with a nice (brand-new) case and headphones. My Flip camcorder, with all my precious and hilarious videos on it...I never got around to taking them off. My still new and nice jazz shoes. Oh, oh, oh.

But let's not go into detail what happened after that, now shall we?

Welllll...the Willy Wonka cast list should be up any moment *cringes in nervousness* if only I could be just as excited as usual. *sigh*.

Today

is the first day of September. I'm glad. There were experiences in August I never want to relive...the accident was the worst time of my life. Plus, Les Mis rehearsals have been rocky and I'm ready for it to all come together and make a good show.

So I'm happy with some of my wishes being granted...I didn't get the birdie bedding but I got an equally gorgeous floral quilt for half the price, still from PBteen (such good quality!!) and soon I will paint my room a nice, light shade of green and Pop will put in a desk, and other such lvoely things to finish my room up. Happy happy joyjoy.

Plus I got a nice little silicone case for Maria. I really decided I liked it better then a leather one because it would get annoying to have to open it all the time when I want to change a song, adjust the volume, etc.etc.

Anyways have a nice holiday my friends!
